Inspirée de la tradition belge, cette bière de style Saison amorce sa présence avec une belle couleur paille. Légèrement voilée, elle est sèche avec des arômes de céréales. L’utilisation du houblon, à la frontière entre la tradition et le nouveau monde, apporte des notes d’agrumes et de fruits de la passion, tout en laissant place au caractère aromatique de la levure utilisée.

Bottle. Pours a clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sweet grains and grass supported by flora and sweet light fruits. Flavor is similar with a combination of grass, sweet fruits, sweet grains and flora.

A hazed golden saison with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light coriander, curacao, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light coriander, curacao, silky mouth feel, nice and smooth. On tap at Festibière de Gatineau été 2018.

Hazy yellow color with an huge white head. Ok lacing. Decent intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a rich carbonation level. Moderate acidity. Some spices, fruity, yeast and mild citric flavor. Would have been very good with a better carbonation level. Became very fizzy.

Bottle. An unclear yellow colored beer with a finger thick white head. Lacing. Fruity, lightly funky and spiced aroma with pine cones, citrus zest and some grapefruit. Pleasant funky, grapefruity, zesty flavor with a fine bitterness. It's quite dry on the palate, nicely carbonated and medium bodied. Lasting fruity finish with a good bitterness and zesty, fruity hops. A very pleasant and tasteful saison indeed. 171104

Bottle from Gulating. Slightly unclear yellow golden body with a fading white head. Delicate aroma with some slightly acidic fruit, wood, spicy yeast and slightly funky. Flavor is refreshing fruity, pale malt, mild wood, pronounced bitterness, slightly funky. Medium body and fine aftertaste. A very delicate modern Saison.

Bottle from the LCBO. Hazy pale yellow under a fluffy lingering white head that leaves some patchy lace. Nose is yeast, pepper. light tropical fruit, some honey, lemon, wheat, light grass, light floral notes and some funk. Very light sweetness with a medium lemon tartness along with light pepper and coriander and some grassy bitterness. Mouth is medium with prickly carbonation and dry spicy finish. Enjoyable. 8/4/7/4/15+

Big fizzy-creamy longlasting head, hazy. Aroma is kind of sour-ish floral, old moss, sour grass, yeast, flowers, sulfur, old lawn, paper, minerals, light malts, old sour wash cloth. Taste is harsh sour-ish floral, weeds, sour grass, minerals, yeast, bark, metal tank, old sour wash cloth, flowers, fruit stones, paper, old lawn. Medium bitterness, harsh sour-ish metallic mouthfeel. Meh!
