750ml bottle shared by Madvike. Cloudy yellow tan. Sour dulled tea and lambic mix. Kind of tastes like they pasteurized it, so it doesn’t really capture or explore a real "wild" liveliness. Enjoyable, but comes off a little artificial. Kind of a tea lambic, not a World Class beer by any means and undeserving of the price tag.

750 ml corked and caged bottle courtesy of beastiefan2k. Served straight out of the wine fridge at ~60 degrees. The pour is a clear yellow golden with a noisy one inch white head that falls quickly. There are Champagne like carbonation bubbles flowing up from the bottom of the glass throughout. Actually, the overall look of this pour is very Champagne like. The aroma is floral verbena, herbal, there is a light gentle saltiness present as well. The citrus that is present is very much lemon peel. Earthy. The taste is lemon citrus right away, moving quickly to the verbena floral, the herbal, and a leafy earthy, softly tart finish. The sour tartness clears pretty quick, and gives way to a refreshing lemon citrus and floral beer. The citrus, floral spice really linger, pleasantly so. The palate is medium to light bodied, soft natural carbonation and the lingering finish. Quite drinkable, fun beer. Thanks for bringing this one back for me from St Louis, Eugene.

Bottle. Golden beer with a whitish head. Earth and light herbal aroma with light spice and tartness. Tart, light aspirin flavor with light spice. Medium bodied. Tart/sourness lingers with light spice, light earth, and light tea.

Last bottle of the night I believe in Boise! Pours a cloudy yellow color with a large white head. An interesting nose of lambic and citrus with light earth. The sweet tart fruity lambic is pretty dominant but there are some mushroom and earthy qualities. Very good. Dry finish. Tasty.

On draught at Winking Lizard. The beer is a clear pale straw/gold color with a medium fizzy ivory white head that diminishes steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. The aroma is somewhat herbal and funky at the same time. Light-bodied with an effervescent mouthfeel and flavors of sour fruit, citrus and yeast. The finish is dry and mildly sour with a tart fruity aftertaste. Decent light Sour overall.

Herbal tea right in the middle with a bit of sour citrus. Mint leaves. Some funk but the brewed tea makes itself present.

Bottle shared by Matt, thanks! Pours a hazy gold with a peach hue with a white head that dissipates completely. Aroma is full funk with notes of mushroom, cigarettes and a bit of marijuana. Flavor has a note of cigarette with backing tartness and hints of menthol and light fruit.

Bottle. Pours with a hazed golden hue and a fluffy white head. Aromas are a bit strange. Minty, lightly lightstruck, tea, herbal, mushrooms and lactic acid. Flavors are tart, minty, kombucha tea, lactic acid, acetic acid (although low levels of burn). Clean tasting. Fun to drink despite the price. Lively bubbles, pretty dry and refreshingly tart.

Shared with a few friends on a Friday night. Pours a fairly clear pale golden color with a decent white head that shows moderate retention. Smells of tart and funk, no really. Lemons and yellow mustard mixed with truffles and barnyard. This is quite an odd aroma, but it kind of works. Taste is tart funk with a nice puckering of lemons dominating the flavor. Earthy barnyard mixed with fungi round out the flavor. Medium body, spirited level of carbonation and a puckering tart mouthfeel. I enjoyed trying this, but I couldn’t see me drinking more than the 6 or so ounces I had in one sitting.

A pale straw blonde with no head. In aroma, lambic horseblanket with some humid rubber. In mouth, a light green apple wit epsom salts, a bit of off notes. Bottle at Belgian Beer Fest, Sept 10 2011.
