Bottle at Maltzilla’s tasting. Pours cloudy pale yellow with white head. Funky wheat aroma. Sour lemon flavor with grainy wheat and some tea. Medium body with average carbonation. A pretty interesting brew.

From tap at Monks Cafe. Pours hazy yellow with a huge, creamy and white head. Aroma is citric, tea and slight peach fruity. Citric, fruity and tart. Refreshing fruity and citric. Lingering tea and citric fruity finish. Nice and easy.

Bottle @ J&C, Friday session, 2011. Thanks. Pours clear golden with a pink hew and a large white head. Perfume and herbal tea notes. Floral and spicy. Spritzy and vaguely tart flavor with notes of fruit tea. A bit of cellar. Ends dry. Impressive at 3,5.

Bottle 750ml.[ Courtesy of Secret Winter Santa ]. Clear light to medium yellow - pink color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy tart, spicy, tea, fruity - berry, pepper notes. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light acidic with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20110325]

Enjoyed at Fountainhead in Chicago, IL two days prior to running in the Chicago Marathon. I accidentally erased my tasting notes for this one, but from what I remember the aroma consisted of sour cherries and stinky cheese. Appearance is a faint champagne/cherry with no head in a thin tulip glass. Taste is light for a sour, but pretty good.

Bottle courtesy of BrewEngineer on 06/05/2010. Cloudy orange body with a small creamy white head. Big spicy and citrus aroma. Sweet spicy flavor with tea character and a light tart flavor. Light body with moderate carbonation.

Pours hazy gold into a Sam glass. Bright white soapy head with medium retention recedes to mottle surface. Sour peach aromas. Tart with upfront summer fruits turning to a sweet tea in the middle before a dry, crisp tart finish. Much better than expected.

Capped 750 from Half Time. Pours very hazy light gold with a 2 finger foamy white head. Aroma strongly suggests mustard and vinegar. Break out the dogs!!!!!!!!! Near full bodied with very coarse, foamy carbonation. Flavor starts suggesting sour lemonade, then suddenly goes on to spicey mustard - then more citrus. The mustard nose never leaves. This is very unusual. A mustard sour wit? Pretty good stuff.

750mL bottle, a mix of De Troch lambic and kombucha, had to get it. This beer was a perfect thirst quencher on a hot NY day when I had to walk from the Broadway-Lafayette station to Andy’s place. Popped this open and tasted and said "ahhh" inside. Not uber sour or anything but showing the nice aspects of De Troch lambic as seen in the Cuvee. Lots of tart and lemon. I drink a fair portion of kombucha, so I think I can taste it a bit but I may be fooling myself. Appearance is super cloudy golden. Mouthfeel is medium-light. Tartness sits around for a little while in the throat. I like this beer and would drink it again for sure.
