Bottle from Cora. Fresh herbal beginning. The beer starts nice smooth with floral fresh green hops there. Very round and refreshing. the body is not too intense, the floral piney and citrus intense hops are in the foreground. Moderate bitterness, refreshing herbal hop-oils, round and smooth intense aftertaste. Very good - especially for a Leffe.

0.75 l bottle; clear dark amber colour, large creamy yellowish-beige-ish off-white head, which lasts forever; aroma of floral-honey notes, grape, biscuit, hints of dried figs and dates, minimal anise and christmas spices; taste is the same with burnt syrupy notes and some overripe tropical fruits (mango?); really good, though not an excellent Belgian strong ale

Fles gedeeld met Inoven. Het is een roodbruin bier met een medium schuimkraag. Het heeft een lekkere kruidige smaak met wat fruitigs en een licht hoppige nasmaak.

Flesje gedeeld door TomHendriksen. Diep donkerrood, helder bier. Weinig aroma. Smaak is fruitig en ietsje hoppig en kruidig. De hopsmaak blijft even hangen.

Pours clear and brown with an orange hue and a small tan head. The aroma contains hops, malts, herbs, caramel and dark fruits. It tastes medium to light bitter with sweet undertones. The finish is dry and bitter but toned down by the sweetness. Fizzy carbonation and oily texture. The taste is artifical and industrial though. I was also surprised this was a winter beer, especially because of the ’exotic’ hops.

Bottiglia 75 cl, ambrato carico, schiuma fine poco persistente, aroma intenso speziato, dolce caramellata. In classico stile Leffe. Piacevole, bevuta alla vigiglia di Natale

330ml bottle from Auchan. Pours a hazed deep amber, large white head. Aroma is familiar Leffe yeast. Taste is nice and rich, with good sweet yeast and light caramel. Not familiar with the Mount Hood hop and can’t say too much is rising above the usual royale yeast character. But the beer is nice enough.
