Detta är en riktigt anrik svensk porter från Slottskällan. Mustig, fyllig och toppad med ljust, tätt skum. Malten har rostats bärnstensfärgad på hög temperatur och resultatet skulle vi vilja påstå är rätt majestätiskt.

Bottle at the flat in Stockholm. Pours dark brown with a creamy, beige head. Dusty cocoa nose, hints of tangy dark malts, burnt earth. Light to medium sweet flavor with some bitter earth, burnt cocoa, charred wood, slight minerals, burnt grass. Medium bodied with average, smooth carbonation. Mild sweetness to finish with burnt and dusty cocoa, tobacco, mud, earth, dirt, burnt toast and burnt grass, dry and burnt wood. OK.

33cl bottle from systembolaget tried @ hotelroom. Very dark brown to black color, small beige to light brown head that’s quickly gone. Smell roastyness, dark malts, coffee and earth. Taste dark malts, roasted malts, coffee, earth, leaves and a heavy malty bitterness. Medium body, full carbonation. A bit off-balance imo.

Flaske 0,33l. Gave fra Rune. Ultradyprød. Egentlig svart men så vidt gjennomskinnelig. Høyt luftig, litt farget skum som varer lenge. Fester seg litt til glasset. God kaffearoma. Smaken er lett: Kaffe og litt lakris. Blir fort tørr & bitter. Smaken varer lenge. KI=5 ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Thanks to Gaute for bringing a couple of 330ml bottles from Systembolaget in Luleå. Deep, near-black body, stable fawn-coloured head, spotty lace. Quite aromatic with dark chocolate malts and a little roastiness. Cocoa powder in flavour joined by liquorice and ashy dryness. Feels a bit thin in the mouth even though the aftertaste of roasted dry bitterness lasts for a while. Likable, if not that great (Tromsø, 25.02.2012).
