330 ml. bottle. BBF 02/03/16. Another wonderful To Øl-like label from these guys. Deep brown amber, creamy light mocha head. Nose is overly sweet & weird, reminiscent of brown bread mixed with very cheap chocolate milk, odd mixture of special grains, dark bread, rye & weird chocolate milk profile. Not entirely successful for me at first but it grew on me the more I drank of it. Taste is odd mix of rye & black bread, Fristi (a milk-based drink popular with kids), cheap packaged chocolate milk, a bit watery chocolate, chicory coffee, light herbs, touch kvass, artificial caramel… It almost seems to be aimed to replicate the memory of a kid’s drink, ‘though that might be personal. A very odd beer, found it almost off-putting at first but I gradually got into it. Taste is slightly packaged bit watery chocolate milk. So far I cannot profess to be the biggest fan of this brewery but they soom to make some rather quirky beers which I always admire.

Draft sample @ Berlin Braufest 2015.
