On tap @Ma che siete venuti a fà (Rome). Pours golden with a little white head. Aroma is malty, caramel, sugary, light hoppy notes. Flavour is sweet, a bit unbalanced, caramel, light bitter end, alcol. Medium body, medium carbonation. So so...

Bottle, danke Günther. Dark golden, low offwhite head. Light honey aroma. Fullbodied, lightly carbonated, slightly sugary and a bit boozy, ok grassy finish. Bit too sweet for my taste.

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Biscuity malty aroma with subtle fruity notes, traces of cara-malt and shades of herbal hops in the background. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Solid malty base with notes of biscuits, honey and a subtle fruity touch; sweet malty and mildly bitter hoppy finish. A decent pale Bock, but not outstanding. 10.XI.12

Bottle:Golden, relatively stable white foamy layer, sweet grainy to bisquity with a slight bitter and a slight alcoholic touch; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; faint traces of tart and herbal hops in drier, but still sweet-bitter finish. Great beer, but only average by franconian standards…
