Bottle from Libeerdade, Lisboa. Bretty funk interacting with white wine barrel. Dry with less hoppy notes than I expected, it's more Wild Ale than Brett IPA. Decent bitterness though, white grape, hints of additional fruits from the hops I suppose. Medium body. Nice.

Trockener, wenig säuerlicher Beginn. Würzig-herb ohne deutliches Hopfenaroma, weich, kaum bitter. Konstante, allerdings eher schwache Brettnoten. 9/10/8/8/7/8

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 28A/21A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L16072020 (BBF 07.2023). AROMA: medium-high wild fermentation notes (barnyard), esters (over-ripe oranges) and a medium lactic-like sour background. hops very faint to absent, masked by the fermentation by-products. malt very faint in the background with a grainy character, APPEARANCE: hazy light yellow body. low white head with low retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium-low wild fermentation notes (barnyard, over-ripe oranges). faint lactic sourness. very low malt background with a grainy character. medium-low bitterness with an almost dry finish. PALATE: medium-low to low body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: although it has great wild fermentation notes, the wild part is already absent maybe due to its bottle age.
