This Double IPA includes Mosaic and Simcoe hops, South American specialty malt, and tons of tastiness. Looks like liquid gold, smells like a bright tropical fruit pine forest, and tastes like all that and more.

22oz bottle pours out a dark golden topped with a small head. Nose is great citrus fruits pine hops and a nice caramel sweetness. Taste is more of the citrus hops grapefruit pith pine and a caramel malts sweetness. Wow this is good.

bottle. Pours crystal clear golden, small white head, dissipates fairly quickly, nice lacing. Aroma is juicy, tropical, pot, dank, passionfruit, sweaty pits. Flavor is light sweet, light plus bitter, juicy. A bit of lingering bitterness on the finish. Medium light body. Solid, as would be expected from these guys.

On tap at First and Main in Los Altos. Aroma of string pine and moderate orange citrus. Pours a hazy pale gold with full white head. Flavor is piney with moderate high bitterness. Bread malts support well.

Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours gold with a foamy white head. Aroma is very hoppy. Verging on dank. Lots of tropical fruit, lots of citrus, very Mosaic/Nelson (those are different, but I tend to find them together; just my brain on hops). Full bodied, but not sticky. I think it’s dank. It’s also all tropical fruity and citrus, and it’s a struggle to find malt. Which is present. This is really hoppy stuff, and it’s nice that it’s not just a citra bomb. Those are nice, but variety is the hop of life. Damn good beer. It’s NW hoppy, but not NW bitter. Brilliant ale.
