18 December 2020. Christmas Beer Evening with the lovely Anke! Bottle from Carrefour. Hazy orange, stable, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of yellow apple, pear, plum, wet grass, coriander, clove, mandarin peel. Taste has sweetish apple, pear, vague banana in a yeasty-bready body, spicy bitter middle with clove & some sour wheat. Grassy hoppy, spicy, yeasty finish, more yellow fruit & warming jenever-like alcohol. Medium body, slick texture, lively carbonation. It has potential but the palate tones everything down.

0,33 bottle.Gold color, simple look, small foam. The aroma is relatively meaningless, candied, syrupy, but just a little spicy, and not too intense. Quite carbonated, a little alcohol is also felt. It’s a “smooth” strong Belgian ale with a little too bubbly carbonated. Let’s say you also feel at least some hop bitterness in addition to the syrupy flavor. This beer is an example that if we leave the alcohol strong and fill it with candy sugar, our beer will not be like a serious triple. Of course, that doesn’t mean it’s inedible, but it’s not outstanding at all. Alcohol can be felt even in my throat :) Of course, it is good to drink very slowly and from a goblet.

Arany szín, egyszerű megjelenés, kicsi hab. Illata viszonlag semmitmondó, kandiscukros, szirupos, de csak egy pici fűszeresség, és nem is túl intenzív. Elég szénsavas, picit az alkohol is érződik. Ez egy "sima" erős belga ale, picit túl pezsgősre engedett szénsavval. Mondjuk legalább némi komlós keserűség is érződik a szirupos íz mellett. Ez a sör a példa rá, hogy attól, ha erősre hagyjuk az alkoholt, és megtoljuk kandiscukorral, nem lesz olyan a sörünk, mint egy komoly triple. Persze nem jelenti azt, hogy ihatatlan, de nem is kiemelkedő egyáltalán. Az alkohol viszon még a torkomban is érződik :) Természetesen ennek is jót tesz, ha nagyon lassan és kehelyből isszuk.

Pale color, like a pilsener, dense frothy head. Orange and melon aroma and flavor. Some hops and citrus, even a bit creamy. The alcohol is pretty well hidden. One of the better Silly beers.

Flesje thuis gedronken. Goudgeel helder bier. Aroma van mout, fruit en hop. Smaak is kruidig en zoetig. Nasmaak is iets bitter.

Botella 33 Cl en el Kraken 04..01.. 2019. Color amarillento velado con espuma blanca. Sabores frescos maltosos y cereales con especiados, bastante seca ala final, llegando en momentos a ser algo tosca o rústica. Sabor alcohólico apreciable. Algunas especias tipo anís estrellado o canela es lo único que le dan algo de gracia. Cuerpo medio alicorados seco algo rústico. Normal, u a triple belga algo especiada sin más ni más.
