On Tap Hazy redish brown with a modest light tan head. Even full sheets of lacing. Sweet caramel toasted malt aroma. Earthy peaty flavors. Not overly sweet, and not particularly big or rich. Not so sure this is the "double’ actually.

Thx! for sharing. Sampled draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Deep red amber, small tanned head. Nose is sweet syrup, molasses, caramel, mocha, sticky toffee, nice & sticky in a good way. Taste is a sugary treat, sweet caramel, sugar, candy, brown sugar, toffee, faint cough syrup, warming, thick cake,... Thick syrupy body. Lovely if you love huge sugary & sweet candy beer.

On tap @ the brewpub. Pours perfect clear amber with off white head. It has a fairly pungent aroma with bold ripe cherries, prunes and figs with sugar sweet malts in the background. The taste begins with sweet malts and some brown sugar. It quickly becomes very sweet as ripe cherry and hints of molasses hit midway. As the finish approaches thick rich sweet cherries, prunes and raisins bludgeon the senses with slick sweetness that doesn’t ever let up. Still, I found the flavor very nice.
