Malzig-intensiver Antrunk. The beer is malty, refreshing with a thick and molasses-like mainpart. Not too much sweetness, but a nice bitterness, that fits in very well. Nice and easy to drink, roasted malt, caramel, brown sugar with a nice intense bitterness remaining long on the tongue. Could be a bit less sweet.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein dunkel rötlichbraunes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, leicht schokoladig, Karamell, würzig.

Bottle from bierzwerg.de. Brown color with medium sized light beige head. Roasted malt, caramel, roasted nuts, vanilla, some fruitiness in aroma. Taste, roasted malt, caramel, coffee, toffee, some liqueur, bitter hops. Long bitter finish with chocolate aftertaste. Surprisingly not sweet, tasty beer.

Bottle, 7.0%. OK malty aroma, slightly peppery. Clear brown colour. Very small tan head. The flavour is OK malty, but not exactly sweet. At first there is a metallic aftertaste, but that disappears as the beer breathes. Some of the sips seem to give a off little smoky note.

Bottled (Pikkulintu, BB 05/2009). Deep amber color, creamy beige head. Grassy, saccarine-like aroma. Medium-bodied. Toasted malts, caramel, grassy hops, a bit unbalanced flavor. A bit sourish, bready and grassy aftertaste.
