bottle from @McTapps, European Local swap 2/2015, thanks while reading the label i’m getting interested, a sour beer, which I can appreciate. When opening the 50 cl bottle, is my nose becomes aware of the acids, and some red fruits hmmm nice... Taste moderately bitter, weak sugary sweetness, moderate acid, a little on the thin side however exceptionally fresh, nice light acidified, medium body, thin and smooth texture, low co2. for a first German acid beer it’s okay

Bottle. Light hazy orange golden, big offwhite lace. Light lactic and hayish sour nose. Medium light body, sparkly. Fine pear and apple base, light hayish notes, fitting dry notes, light metallic hops, fresh apple finish. Very nice quencher, fresh and lightfooted.

0,5 l bottle from Vormann Brauerei. Clear, dark amber with a small, quickly diminishing, soapy, white head. Interesting aroma of fermented grapes, black currant and hints of caramel and roasted malts. Sourish taste of fermented grapes, black currant and hints of lemon. Long, tart finish. Thin body, low carbonation, fizzy mouthfeel, a bit watery. Very interesting, refreshing beer that lacks a bit of taste. Good palate cleanser when eating greasy dishes.

Bottle. It pours a hazy, dark golden body and a dense, off-white head. The aroma is both lemony sour and slightly milky sour, with a caramel touch. Some dried fruits and grass. The flavor is lightly sour, mostly on a lemony side. Medium body, soft on the palate. Lasting finish. An interesting one indeed, but it’s still sort of understandable that it’s a distinct beer style. Anyway, it’s a refreshing one. 141231
