Bottled flip top (BB 11/2008)
Courtesy of bierkoning, ty Edo! Dark cola/ruby color, small off-white head. Dark rye bready, lightly cellary aroma with some sugary sweetness. Light toasted and caramelly flavor (together with some milky hints) with hops in the finish. Aftertaste is bitter. This is plesant although not inspiring schwarzbier, this seems to be quite good brewwery.

The bottle looks a little bit boring, but the black label fits to the beer. The aroma is very malty. The flavor the same. Fortunately it turns not penetrating. An average schwarzbier.

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, dark brown with a warm tint of red and a creamy, beige head. Aroma of roasted malt with a vague, burned touch. Medium body with sweetish, burned accents and a fruity touch. Malt bitter finish. Very clean and well-crafted. 191207
