330ml Bottle - Black with a tan head. Liquorice, fudge and some soapy notes in the aroma. Roasted and fairly hoppy taste with liquorice, coffee, fudge and some soapy hops detected. Easy to drink but it could do with a bit more body seeing as it’s so strong.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Dark brown, small beige head. Licorice and caramel up front. Sweet with full body and rounded, oily mouthfeel. Crude oil, licorice, caramel and notes of grapefruit. Really bitter finish. Potent, too sweet and resiny, but not overly aggressive.

Bottle from webb SB cons 2015-04-17 Duved AR: tropical fruit juicy, pine, marmelade (orange - brittish) AP: dark mahogny, high frothy steady cream coffey, F: roasted malt, coffey liqure, tropical fruity, vanilla, bitter, itensive carbonation, - very nice chocolate flavor ;)

Bottle. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty hoppy aroma. Roasted malty hoppy bitter citrus flavor with hints of caramel. Has a roasted malty hoppy bitter caramel finish.

33cl bottle from Vinmonopolet, Storo. Pours very dark brown with a beige head. Fairly hoppy aroma with pine, moderate citrus and fairly light roasty notes. Medium sweet with dominating hoppy flavours and just some dark, malty flavours. Quite nice and tasty and easy to drink.

33 cl bottle @ Ukkometso. Batch #0053, BBE 08/2019 (wtf). Aroma has strong licorice tones, some ash and fruity hops. Flavour has licorice, ash, grapefruit-like hops, nettles and some gooseberry bush. Nice, I like the licorice here. Could not really locate the 197 IBU the label promised. This actually feels quite close to Plevnan Siperia.

Bottle from trade with Fonefan, many thanks Jan! Dunkel rötlichbraunes Bier mit einer schönen kompakten bräunlichen Schaumkrone. Geruch fruchtig hopfig, aber auch röstmalzig und etwas schokoladig. Geschmack sehr hopfig, röstmalzig, Vanile, bitter fruchtig, Kaffee, tolle Kombination aus Stout und IPA.

Taste is slightly sweet foresty, pine needles, dark malts, leafs, moss, bark, hops, licorice, coffee, grass. Longlasting bitterness, dry and slightly harsh mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Bottle at home. Pours a black colour with big, compact, light beige head. Aroma of fruity hops, pine, orange chocolate and some coffee in the background. The flavour has more fruity hops along with grapefruit, grass, wood and roasted malt in the background. Has a slick mouth feel, and a heavy but balanced bitterness. A black IPA with a focus on the IPA part and not so much on the roasted malt. Solid and balanced anyway.

Clear, almost black with frothy offwhite head. Aroma has resin, grapefruit, pineapple and caramel notes. Flavour has fruity bitterness which intensifies into a stronger coffee-like bitterness after a while. ABV is nicely controlled. Thick and creamy mouthfeel, lingering bitter finish. Nice.
