Bottle shared @ Beerbecue with Joes, Caesar and Dutchdrebus. Clear pale golden color, small white head. Smell and taste lightly white wine, very average in the sense that it is moderately, medium dry, but also medium sweet. Straight down the middle (not sure if that’s an expression in English), just not outspoken. Decent though.

Bottle from the Bedford Arms, Bedford. Gold, clear, and very carbonated. Light orchard fruit smell, somewhat musty. Bittersweet taste, a bit of tangy apple but fairly underwhelming. Well carbonated. Not all that, a waste of a strong ABV.

Champagne coloured. Aroma is quite floral with some tart apple. Flavour has mildly sweet apple and a touch of pear. Mildly sweet and mildly tart. Soft mouthfeel, moderate carbonation.

Bottle sample @ Van Moll fest 2015, Eindhoven.

Sampled bottled @ Van Moll Fest 2015. Pale clear golden. Nose is soapy apples, faint sulfite-like touch, faintly sourish,… Taste is light mineral, touch sulfite-like, sourish apple, candy, floral, touch barn, very dry,… Green apples. A touch odd. Okay.

Bottle at Goblins. Clear pale yellow colour. Excellent balance of taste and aroma. Clean apple character. Wonderful balance of sour, tart, bitter and sweet. Excellent. High carbonation, easily drinkable.

Bottle at PIB 2015, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma is quite dry, with crisp dry apple skins and almost a touch of funk. Flavour is medium sweet, with red apples, light acidity and a high juiciness. Really well-balanced and refreshing. Very good.

Bottle at home. Very pale green / yellow/ petroleum coloured pour with a fleeting white effervescent head. Aroma is semi-sharp, some candy, some floral notes and bile. Some sharp lemon citrus in the nose as well. Flavour is sweet sharp fruit, apple, touch of sharpness. Palate is quite fizzy, semi-sweet, semi-crisp finish. Decent cider. Quite clean, maybe a little too clean for me.
