Draft sample @ Van Moll fest 2015, Eindhoven. Brune voire ambrée troubel, col blanc-cassé. Arôme reste assez médicinal et herbacé, malté moyen avec une pointe de grillé cara et pâle, retrouve un côté rustique mais dont le dominant herbacé reste la note majeure du bouquet. Palais garde, ici aussi, un niveau herbacé dominant, retrait malté rappelant un peu le romarin ou origan? Levure est plus en retrait avec un fini axé sur l’épicé.

Sampled draft @ Van Moll Fest 2015. Murky dark brown with no head. Nose is odd herbs, lavender, spices, very odd herbs, thyme, rosemary,… Body & taste is a bit watery, herbal, huge spices akin to rosemary, some thyme, sugar, oregano, spices, weird herbal,… Doesn’t entirely work but interesting.

Tap @ van Moll, small sample. Slight hazy dark color, short frothy head. Aroma of peppery yeast, bit roast, some coffee, lots of licorice. Bit spicy and dry in taste, slight roasty bitterness. Nice black saison.

Black with thin head. Aroma is a bit savoury perhaps with a bit of mushroom. Fresh, tangy taste. A bit yeasty.

Tap @ Van Moll, Eindhoven. Slightly murky brown colour with a small off-white head. Smells coffee, roasty, chocolate. Tastes chocolate, roasty, coffee, sweetish, nice. Medium body, soft to medium carbo.

Sampled from bottle during shareholders pre-opening event. Almost black color, full sized beige head that lasts forever and leaves excellent lacing. Smell and taste malts, dark malts, lightly sour. Nice, fresh beer. Medium body and carbonation.
