Thx! Sampled draft@ Tilquin English Beer Festival 2015. Deep raspberry pinkish red, little head. Nose is big prunes with light raspberry, lightly tart with fruit sweetness. Taste is huge prune & touch raspberry juice, lactic, mildy tart, somewhat acidic with a faint moldy lactic Berliner note that takes it a bit down for me. Juice body, very simple but quite satisfactory as well.

Keg at Brewdog Birmingham MTB; light copper pour with off white head, fruity aroma, mellow tart sourness, with a hint if citrus, drying mouthfeel.

Keg at The Hanging Bat. Pour pinkish red, almost no head, very light carbonation. Aromas of cider vinegar funk and red fruit, hard to say ’damson’ as such, not a fruit I’m very familiar with outside of jam. Lemon there too, and very sharp lemon taste, good sourness, light bitterness. Thought I picked up something a tad musty on the aftertaste. Nice clean dry finish, if not quite the full, rounded, milky mouthfeel some of these recent UK sours have. Good.

Keg at IMBC 2013. It pours hazy pink with a minimal white head. The nose is grainy, toast, barnyard, lactic, damson and faint cat litter. The taste is crisp, tart, floral, berry, lemon, lactic, grainy and fruit tea with a dry finish. Light body and fine carbonation. Delicious and ultra drinkable. Very nice.
