One of our ‘terroir’ beers, brewed with Gentian roots, traditionally used for a local liqueur, added at the very end of the boil. The aromas are peppery, earthy and floral. The mouthfeel is firstly of honey flavors then earthy, peppery and yellow fruits. The finish is delicate and long lasting.

Bottle @ ZZT 8. Hazy orange color, medium sized white head. Aroma is herbs, the others say it’s coriander. Taste lightly malts, slightly a flowery touch, some herbs. Average to medium body and carbonation. Hmm average.

Bottle @ ZZT9 thx to Benzaiana. Very hazy orange colour with a small white head. Smells lavender, soapy, perfume, herbs, toilet refresher. Tastes soapy, perfume, lots of herbs, fresh. Thin body, nice carbo.

Bottle at home. The colour is hazy orange with an off-white medium head. Sweet aroma of fruits, pine apple especially, spices, herbs and soda. Sweet and fruity is also the flavour with the addition of root vegetables, spices and Belgian yeast. Has a slick and rich mouth feel, and a light bitterness. A sweet and spiced ale.

75cl. orangene Farbe, der Antrunk ist aromatisch-süßlich, ein bisschen brotig. Zum Hauptteil kommt eine leicht blumig-milde Note hinzu - wahrscheinlich der Enzian. Der Nachgeschmack ist leicht nussig, weich, aber etwas zu süßlich. Interessant! 11/10/9/9

A beautiful 0.75l bottle that makes strange schulping sounds when pouring. The beer itself is a light cloudy golden orange one and it has a medium sized just off-white top. Smells green and sorta fruity. Green zest, mild sweet grass, reed, a bit of caramel and hints of flowers. Not bad. It has a mild oily mouthfeel with a average kinda boring carbonation level that reminds me of sparkling water. Again, light green and floral in the taste. Yeast, some whet, green sweet apples and it has very little bitterness this. Gets a bit boring after the first glass to be honest. Decent but I won't be purchasing this again. 06.06 2013

Flaske fra polet: ravgylden under en tett og hvit skumkrone som heldigvis ikke skjuler den innbydende aromaen av appelsin, snev av lime og en spennende bitterhet. Fin karbonering som gir deilig munnfølelse, og smaken er riktig så sommerlig og frisk. Italienerne kan mer enn å gå fort på ski, de ligger godt an i løypa for craft beers også!

750ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Langnes. Nice bottle design. The pour reveals a loose, white head and a yellow-orange coloured body with a cloud lag to it. Herbal hops to the nose added by tropical fruits. Perfumed taste of tropical fruit joined by apricot and almond. Smooth, bittersweet fruity ending, half-dry. Fine bodied. Tasty summer drink (tasting session, Tromsø 03.06.2013).

750ml bottle. Courtesy of Rune at XXIX Rating Session 03.06.13. Thanks! Golden, slightly cloudy body with big creamy head and fair lacing. A sweet scent of flowers spreads in the room as soon as the bottle is opened, a closer examination reveals notes of straw, parsley, grass, celery and herbs. The taste is also grassy and flowery, with hints of honey, buckthorn and vanilla. A very nice and exclusive bottle with a cool green label. A different and pleasant experience!
