At GBF. Saison with American aspirations apparently, bearing a stable, creamy, yellowish beige head and showing a warm orangey blonde colour. Aroma of (strangely) pickled gherkins, dried apricot, caramel, floral hops, hint of white pepper, pineapple; fruity taste, sour berry tartness, smooth mouthfeel, bit spicy with a toasted malt character and mild floral hop bitterishness in the finish. I guess the idea of ’pickled gherkins’ in the aroma is inspired by some American farmhouse ale?

(Thx! for sharing) Sampled @ Gents Bierfestival 2015. Very hazy golden, small whie head. Nose is esters, soap, dough, sugar, herbal bitter, tad lavender. Taste is big on perfume, esters, sugar, dough, herbal basic bitter, more perfume, soap. Fizzy body. Overly common BE, lacking in USA characteristics.
