22 ounce bottle poured into a Belgian snifter. Pours a clear golden yellow with two fingers of off-white head. Head recedes slowly. Decent lacing. Aromas of grapefruit citrus, tropical fruit, pine, resin, floral and grassy notes, light caramel. Tasting notes of grapefruit citrus, tropical fruit, pine, resin, caramel, bitter and piney hops, just a hint of booze on the backend. Medium body with a dry and slightly warm finish. Juicy mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Pretty smooth for 10% ABV.

Privatimport@Craftbeer.se. Bärnstensfärgad vätska med bubbligt nästan såpa-igt skum. Amerikanska humlearomer av ananas, mango och citrus. Besk smak med lite, lite maltsötma gömd. Fyllig och eldig munkänsla. Medellång eftersmak.

650ml bottle. Cloudy orangey amber colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Citrusy hop aroma, lots of grapefruit, blood orange, lemon. Taste is initially citrusy and bitter hoppy, fruity notes of grapefruit, blood orange, lemon and the like, later the caramel malty backbone comes through more and more; lasting bitter hoppy finish. Intense fruity notes, superbly refreshing, relatively light and easy drinkable, very well hidden alcohol. Excellent.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein leicht trübes dunkel-bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig, hopfig, Karamell, exotische Früchte. Geschmack sehr stark malzig trocken süß, extreme fruchtige herbe.

Bottle from Bierkompass.de. Amber, hazy body, with small, creamy, white head, that dissipates quickly. Great aroma of grapefruit, pine, other tropical fruits, sharpness, some malt. Taste is very intense, sharp, with pine, grapefruit, mango, other tropical fruits, sweet and grassy malt backbone. Mouthfeel is medium, slick, with a good carbonation and finishes very bitter, with pine, lemon peel and slightly astringent. Although not one of my favourite DIPAs, this is still very good, with a sharp hop bite and a good balance.

660 ml bottle. Pours hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma has some full malt sweetness with honey-like floral hops. Aromas are not too intensive - but the beer itself is also not the freshest, was bottled in March 2012. First sip creates an explosion in my mouth. All these 15 hop varieties that have been used when making this beer are still there and doing a great work. Taste has resins, oily mouthfeel, some grapefruit seed and peel bitterness, everything coming together in a long, bitter and resiny pine aftertaste. Some hints of that 10% abv are also coming through, this is not a session drink. Overall, a great double IPA, not too heavy malt base that has been finely hopped.

Botella de 65 cl en el lupulo. Noviembre de 2012 y un par de veces. Alucinante birra.

Tap at GABF 2013. Poured a crystal clear light amber with a frothy white head and a rich consistency. The aroma is rich malt and ultra hoppy. The flavour is medium bitter with a smooth yeast malt hop liqourice palate.

On draft at the GABF in 2013. Pours a clear copper with an off white head. Citrus hop nose with pine and citrus flavors, with some caramel to smooth things out. Bitter finish.
