22 ounce bottle. Cloudy amber orange color topped by a large rocky beige head and a big clinging lace. Aroma is ripe mango, pine needles and grapefruit pith. Bittersweet toasted malt makes a brief appearance, but the huge burst of citrus hops quickly overtakes and dominates the flavor. Make no mistake, this is a real hop lovers dream; a lupelin lovefest. Surprisingly, the 11% alcohol does not overpower this DIPA. Finishes spicy and dry with an a stringently dry mouthfeel, in a good way. I loved this hop bomb from start to finish.

Smak och doft av tropisk frukt en intensiv humlebomb. Mycket beska, oljig med en grapebeska som letar sig innåt. En fadd fruktexplosion. Speciell och annorlunda.

65 cl bottle @ Olutravintola Konttori. Rated on 09.04.2009
Nice aroma with lots of hops and exotic fruits. Also some caramel and gooseberry bush. Flavour is also high on hops with fruitiness, some caramel, resin and hints of pine needles. Very good DIPA and not too sweet.

Aroma is fruity and somewhat heavy with apricot, caramel and sweetness typical to American strong ales. Flavour has alcohol, fruity hops, some caramel and woody tones. Also glue typical to DIPAs. Flat palate, almost no CO2 at all. Not as good as I remembered.

1/II/13 - 1Pt. 6Fl. Oz. bottle @ home (2013-110) Thanks to Erwin for sharing the bottle!

Little cloudy orange beer, small off-white head, unstable, little adhesive. Aroma: honey, sugary, some barley wine resemblance, citrus, syrupy, canned peaches. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: some citrus, grains, hoppy bitterness, honey, bit soapy, bitter, floral. Aftertaste: bit sweet, bitter hops, sugary, mango, bubble gum. Probably a few months too old, maybe longer even. If only there was some way to know when the beer was bottled... oh wait... you could put bottle dates on your bottles. Whaaaaat? Crazy, bro!
