(Bottle 33 cl) Wonderful, aromatic Pilsener with a nice touch of hops. Golden with a nice fragrance. And then this distinctive soft, lightly sweet hard to describe Luxembourg note. Not a very typical Pilsener as this has character and personality. Well done and a nice surprise. 210701

Fles in Luxemburg geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een goudgeel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een lekkere zoete nasmaak.

F: medium size, white, not long lasting. C: gold, clear. A: malt, caramel, grassy, floral, bread, corn. T: malt, caramel, hint of herbal, bread, light oily texture, medium body, low to medium carbonation, for me there is only small difference between this beer end Gambrinus from Battin, 0,33l bottle from Cactus in la Belle Etoile shopping center in Luxembourg.

330 ml. bottle @ home. Bottled on 26.05.2014. BBF 26.09.2014. Clear apple golden, creamy egg-white bubbly head. Nose is sticky sweet corn, cornstarch, metallic, overly sweet, too much plastic corn,…. Taste is lightly watery corn, plastic, no real bitterness, quite plastic, cornstarch, typical macro lager profile that I cannot correctly pinpoint, touch bread,…. Lightly watery. Bland, touch watery & industrial indeed but also very inoffensive & decent actually by pale lager standards.
