Das Bier hat eine goldene Farbe und wenig weißen Schaum. Geruch kräftig malzig, würzig, leicht gehopft. Geschmack sehr malzig, leicht süß, dann würzig werdend, Durchschnittsbier!

Bottle at the Room 118 tasting, Tulip Hotel Bodegraven, post BBF 6 day 1 26/09/14 thanks to whomever shared this one. Clear light golden with a moderate off white covering that retains well. Nose is pale malts, straw, caramel. Taste comprises paper, lemon rind, straw, spice, faint citric rinds. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Mediocre meets bland.

Pour is a clear caramel with a large white head. Aroma is sweet malt with a little paper bag. Flavor is a very thin sweetish malt with a bit of a chewy and bready aftertaste. Overall thin and watery and not very exciting.

Bottle @ hotelroom tasting. Clear yellow color, small white to off-white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly hayish, a bit like a sweetish pilsener. Average body and carbonation. Meh.

500ml bottle Filtered bronzed-yellow body. Steady, thick white head. A pretty decent Marzen, with some respectable lager notes under the spicy noble hops. There is a touch of factory dinge, but there is also some deep golden malt tones, smooth and sweet. Tasty Heller-Fest Bier, really grew on me towards the second half of the glass.

Bottle at The Lion, Boreham. Clear golden colour with good white head. Hoppy. Enjoyable but nothing makes it stand out, it’s close to being a pilsner.
