Draught at Beergeek Bar. Mild roasted aroma. Black colour. Seems clear. Stable light brown head. The flavour is roasted with a good bready note. Malty rye bread. A little watery, but ok for the ABV. Thin mouthfeel, but also ok for the ABV.

Bottled. Black clour with a mediumsized creamy off-white head. Aroma is roasted, chocolate, some dried fruits and mild toffee. Flavour is toffee, chocolate, some toasted and roasted notes with a mild ashy touch. Very smooth, and rather good body for a 5 % beer! Somewhat dry adding to the comfort.

Tiefschwarz mit rotbraunen Reflexen, die bräunliche, feinporig bis cremige Schaumkrone gibt sich flaumig und sehr beständig. Optisch top! Leicht röstig, leicht schokoladig und auch dezent säuerlich in der Nase. Röstig dunkelmalzig im Antrunk. Am Gaumen gut röstige Noten, die am ehesten an angebrannte Brotrinde erinnern. Kaffee und dunkle Schokolade machen sich lediglich im Ansatz bemerkbar. Eine leicht metallische Komponente ist ebenfalls wahrzunehmen, stört aber nicht wirklich. Aufgrund der zurückhaltenden Rezenz ergibt sich eine ganz passable Süffigkeit. Im Abgang kommt nach mehreren Sekunden auch eine deutliche Hopfenherbe zur Geltung, die mit den Röstaromen doch noch ein Gefühl von Kaffee und dunkler Schokolade geben. Für ein Stout ganz akzeptabel - Komplexität und Highlights halten sich sehr zurück, aber es ist gut trinkbar und darf als ganz okay bezeichnet werden.

Mein erstes Bier aus einer Bestellung von beerincans.com bzw. pivovplechu.cz (ist die gleiche Seite für cz Inlandsbestellung), wo man tschechisches Craftbier in Dosen bekommt. Es ist ein recht gemütliches Irish Stout, das mit netten Kaffee- und Kakao-Aromen erfreut, ohne aber zu tief zu gehen. Es ist solide und ich würde es im Mittelfeld ansiedeln, da die Aromen zwar gut sind, aber nicht so intensiv und harmonisch, wie das andere Brauer hinbekommen.

On tap at Nepomucke pivni slavnosti. RBESG2019. Dark brown to black, small tan head. Very roasty. Burnt. Fruity touch. Slightly tart, very dry. Creamy, smooth.
