330 ml. bottle sampled @ 20ste Zomerbierfestival. Amber, small white head. Nose is metallic, dull biscuit & caramel, sugary, syrupy,… Taste is metallic, biscuit, caramel, candy, sugar,… Metallic & thin,… Very dull & overly metallic. Acceptable ’though.

Bottle @ home. Clear amber colour with a small but dense off-white head. Smells very sweet, almost radler like, slightly herbal and some yeast. Tastes herbs, spices, malts, sweet, iron. Medium body, medium to heavy carbo.

Clear dark orange to amber beer, irregular creamy off-white to light beige head, little stable, adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, ripe apples, some citrus, bit sweet, soapy. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: quite some citrus, apple skin, bit metallic, nice hoppy bitterness. Aftertaste: citrus, bit metallic, bitter. Pretty light and drinkable, but not very interesting.

Bottle from Beer Planet, Brussels, 30A4 23/07/2011, probably 1 year too old
Cloudy amber color with generous compact head. Quite nice aroma of spicy yeast, brown sugar, and light fruits. Good body strength; the mouthfeel is soft, smooth; it has a good malt flavor, with some residual sweetness, a nice honey touch (mix of buckwheat honey and chestnut honey); the bitterness level is medium-low; it has indeed a trace of oxidisation in the end.
A good beer, maybe a bit oldish.

33cl bottle. Ambrée claire, col blanc fin. Arôme épice, levure belge, houblon et malt, épice prend un pas en avant sur le bouquet. En bouche, malt sur fond fruité rouge, épicé léger, houblonné. Le tout garde ce profile très belge, assez banale et seulement sauvée par cet ajout d’épice. Pointe de caramel, léger pétillant en bouche avec une pointe de sucré et ce fini houblons nobles.

Bottled. An unclear dark golden beer with a thin beige head. The arom has notes of fruit, dusty hops, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of fruits, dusty hops, alcohol, and malt, leading to a dry finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.
