BB 12/2022, Batch 2169, 330ml bottle

APPEARANCE: deep copper color with light chill haze but still good clarity, off white head; with sediment slightly hazier caramel color

AROMA: pleasant malt forward aroma of sweet biscuits, toast, bread crumbs, brown sugar, mild caramel, hints of honey bread & red fruit esters, subtle pear, impression of cocoa powder/milk chocolate, moderate hop presence with notes of citrus, pine, wood and grass,

TASTE: smooth carbonation with slightly creamy bubbles, medium plus body with surprisingly syrupy and oily mouthfeel for 6.5% abv; medium light sweet onset of caramel, toast, biscuits, impression of spices, candied orange, moderate bitterness of grapefruit flesh and zest, mild wood and pine in the background, moderate dryness with low residual sweetness, light citrusy vibes, spicy and resinous finish with sediment

OVERALL: very harmonious and flavorful American-style Amber Ale, nicely drinkable with pleasant bitterness; I could easily session a few on Christmas Day

On tap @ Ghetto Something. Aroma of caramel, dried fruit, bread and herbs. Pours clear amber brown color with medium sized creamy off-white head and good lacing. Taste starts with light sweet caramel and toasted malt, following is mild fruity, pleasantly hoppy with a hint of spices and leading to rather dry finish. Medium body, slick texture and soft carbonation in palate. Not overly sweet, therefore excellently drinkable...
