A full-flavoured yet crisp and highly sessionable example of Australians' favourite craft beer style. We've called it Zesty because it's high on flavour and drinkability, thanks to the shrewd balancing of some of the world's most enticing aroma hops with a medium malt profile. It's sure to be a fixture in the eskies of zythophiles young and old this summer.

375ml can from BWS, Lane Cove, Sydney. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, woody hops. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a smooth, somewhat light, juicy light pineapple, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average to soft carbonation.

(Can) Pours hazy golden with small loose white head. Nice zesty aroma of lemon with passion fruit notes. Light bodied with slightly fizzy carbonation. Refreshing taste with tangy fruit at the forefront, a little biscuit malt in the background in the mid palate and some pleasant hop bitterness in the finish. Nice refreshing beer.

Not quite sure who brews this beer, but I don't mind it. Perhaps that is because I like the passionfruit/lemon flavours.

Can. Interesting that Woolies/ Dan's are tried to do a non-crap house line of beers that aren't cheap. Somewhat unclear gold with a white head that's soon a coat. Aroma of Meyer lemon, passionfruit, crackers. Pretty much how it tastes - light, summery, refreshing. Not much sweetness, but a bit honeyed. A little bitterness at the end. Very decent quaffer.

375ml can into shaker. From BWS, Glen Innes. Very 'grassy' nose, hemp included alongside malt and pepper. Amber beer with a foamy white head, hazy. Medium body, neutral taste, slight zing. Finish is lingering bitter lemon, sweetening later on. Super easy drinking, sophisticated BBQ beer.
