Here’s a beer to please a geezer, it’s Geezer Pleaser. She’s extra special, an Extra Special British Bitter. Never better than together with a pie and chips, or even better, fish in batter. A greasy appetiser fit for the likes of Julius Caesar. She’s a breezy, easy cleanser, this here pleaser, most agreeable in her sweet demeanor. Hopefully that’s enough to tease ya. She’s a geezer, he’s a geezer, here’s a beer that’s sure to please ya.

(Can but 4.8%ABV) Pours clear mid brown with tiny off white head. Subtle pleasant aroma with notes of toffee, hints of nuts. Good mouthfeel with medium body and good carbonation. Good taste too with balance of sweetish toffee malt and gently bitter hops. Very nice, very drinkable.

375ml can into pint glass. From The Welders Dog, Tamworth. Room temperature. Pours a beautiful bronze colour with a frothy white head. Medium carbonation. Nose is smoky/sweet malt. Very easy to drink, tends towards the 'bitter' rather than the 'sweet'. Nice.

Into a tulip at room temperature. Aromas of caramel, toast, spice, grapefruit and raisins. Also some honey when tasted. A lovely hopped up ESB.

Can. Amber with an off white head that's soon a fat coat. Aroma of singed bread crust, pears, fruit pastilles, spices. Pretty much how it tastes - malty but not that sweet, fruity with a firm, somewhat spicy (and slightly earthy) bitter finish. Convincing finish. Lacks grunt in the middle but fair enough.
