12/1/2020. Sample, from bottle, courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear deep golden with a short lasting white head. Aroma of lemon, citrus, touch of herb, grass, wood and gooseberry. Light sweetness, medium bitters and moderate tartness. Medium body, oily texture, average to soft carbonation. A little more sweetness comes through to finish, as does the woodiness. Tangy, citrus sour finish. Enjoyable.

750ml bottle from Bucket Boys. Batch #0002. Yellowy gold colour, white foamy head that dissipates away and aroma of lemon rind, funk. Taste is sour, tangy, grain, citrus rind with funky brett notes. Slick mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry citric sour finish. Very drinkable

Bottle. Batch 0001(!). Elaborate closure - schmicko artificial cork _and_ a crown seal. Clear amber with a white head that lasts pretty well. Gueuzey aroma with old lemon funk, toasted oak, pears. Medium bodied, lowish carbonation. Sour, brooding with bracken (no vinegar note), mellow autumnal fruit, lightly oaky finish. Perhaps the presence falls away a bit late on. Hugely impressive.
