Bottle. Gold with a large white head that fades a bit. Vibrant aroma is fruity and funky with oranges, ripe and green tropical fruit (mango, young coconut), bracken, oak, spoiling grapes. 8+ Light bodied, slightly slippery. Some hayish and orange sweetness, then a clear sourness that I wasn't really expecting before oak, vanilla and coconut smooth things out at the finish. I wanted either a little more acidity or bitterness at the end to tie it together, although after a time there was some cut through and it reminded me less of 80s Chardonnay. And I suppose I wanted the considerable complexity around more of a theme (which would have been convergence). Still, another fine and interesting beer.
