0.33 l bottle from local 'HIT', best before July 2020. Slightly hazy, deep orangeish amber with a medium, frothy, stable, off-white head. Sweetish, malty, a little floral-grassy aroma of caramel, hay,some grains and a touch of apricot. Gently sweet, malty, slightly bitter, a little fruity-floral taste of caramel, grains and traces of apricot, followed by a short, slightly bitter, a little grassy finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Solid brew, a bit bland but fairly quaffable.

330 ml bottle. Pours cloudy amber, foamy head. Light grain, hay, bread, citrus. Mild dry bitterness. Medium bodied, oily watery texture, soft to lively carbonated, dry finish. Okay overall, however a bit of an unpleasant finish.

Bottle (@“One sip only” Hipster Bar): Deep golden, hazy, big and slowly collapsing creamy off-white head, moderate sweetish bready and yeasty nose with certain fruity spots; mild bitter-sweet flavour, almost medium bodied and pretty soft; mildly increasing bitterness in the all in all sweetish bready and grainy finish. An all purpose brew, quite good by poor Warsteiner standards…
