An American Pale Ale / Saison hybrid. It’s brewed with a big portion of Spelt malt as well as raw wheat and oats. For the hops, we have tried to keep the bitterness right down while maintaining a big US hop presence. So hops (Chinook and Cascade) have only been added to the whirlpool and as dry hops. The yeast is a new dry Belgian yeast on the market made by the homebrew suppliers from Mangrove Jack’s.

Draught @ Mikkeller Bar Stockholm. Pours clear golden with a small frothy offwhite head that leaves some thick lacing on the glass while dissipating. Smell is slightly fruity, tiny estery and tiny phenolic with crackers, grapefruit juice, mango, pears, white grapes, moist grass, pine needles and lemon zest. Taste is slightly bitter, fruity and tiny phenolic with crackers, grapefruit juice, mango, pears, moist grass, pine needles, white pepper corns, grape skins and lemon zest. Mouthfeel is sparkling, dry, slightly astringent, very tiny tart and light to medium bodied. Finish is slightly bitter with crackers, grapefruit juice, unripe tropical fruits, moist grass, pine needles, white peppercorns, grapefruit rinds, grape skins and lemon zest. Solid beer... Prominent fruity dank hops, dry and with light esters and phenols from the yeast. Wish it was fresher...

Sampled draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Light amber, little white head only on the sides. Smell is candy & sweetish hops. Taste is mix of bitter hops, sweet candy, white sugar, yeast,… Thick candy body. Okay but how is this farmhouse? There is no funk or anything & nothing about sweetish candy screams farmhouse to me.
