Bottle, at Haand Festival. Unclear in the glass, golden in color and with a small, white head on top. Vinegar, fruityness, some hints of pale malts, and dried apricots in the aroma. There’s a light bitterness in the flavor, it’s dry and pleasantly carbonated, rather fruity and with a vinegarish sourness. Lasting fruity finish. Delicious, even though it’s quite vinegarish. 150529

Small, just off-white rim; veiled red-copper beer, big bubbled. Indeed very vinous nose, with a surplus of sour red fruit (redcurrant, raspberry); old wine barrels. Very sour taste, with fruitacids, and, I take it, a bit of acetic. Again old winebarrels, wet (even rotting) woodflavour, but much more attractive than this might read; tannines. A strange touch of caramel, or coffeesweetener. Very sharp, fiery, acidburn, light body, well-carbonated. One for the diehards.
