Bottle at Het Oude Schooltje, thanks to Dale. It pours hazy dark red-brown, with a thick off-white head. The nose is sour Granny Smith apple, tart lemon, wild strawberry and bret. yeast. The taste is juicy tart cherry, strawberry, raspberry, red grape, Granny Smith apple, farmyard and wood with a long tart finish. Not overly complex, but very drinkable stuff.

Tasted at the big “SeaBass has got to go” tasting courtesy of fogdog. Pours murky deep copper with thin white head. The aroma is tart and berry like along with some sour and tart crushed aspirin. The taste is thin on the palate and pulls up notes of berry tartness or maybe cranberry along with tart and drying and almost chalky tart crushed aspirin.

[9/24/10] Bottle at Borefts Beer Festival 2010. Dark reddish brown. Aroma of barnyard, cherries, oak and some more fruits. Sourish-sweetish flavor with malt, biscuits, some citric notes and a vinous fruitiness. Rounded-mouthfeel. Very enjoyable.

Bottled 750ml (Beer Planet, BB 06/2015)
Dark nut brown, reddish color, no head. Sour nose with strong aroma of red wine. Light to medium bodied. Easier than the most Alvinne barrel cask brews: red wineous tannines, sourness - but not too much of bretta, some oak and cellar. Grapes are evident in this beer. Quite balanced "red wine beer".

Bottle, 75cl, courtesy of yespr. A hazy, orange gusher giving a white head. Slightly oaked nose with vanilla and brett notes. Citrus too. The flavor is acidic, with pale malts and brett, fruityness and a vinous touch. Effervescent and quite dry in the mouth. Some alcohol when disappearing down the throat. Not so very good initially, but gets better as you drink it. 090822

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Slightly hazy amber golden with a creamy beige head leaving laces. Leaky and gushing bottle. Tart, woody aroma. Light body, tart with good woody accents and a light fruitiness. Dry, sour finish with a hint of metal. Should be classified as a Sour - and it’s a good one. 220809
