This Northwest style amber ale is well balanced with just enough malt presence to keep the bold hop presence in check. The Northwest hops yield abundant citrus aromas and flavours, with a slight earthiness. This crisp ale has a medium dry finish, helping to showcase the hop contributions. Not quite an IPA, but certainly bolder than a Pale Ale. A rich and rustic, highly sessionable ale that pairs with your favourite spicy dish. NB: silver medal winner at the 2014 Canadian Brewing Awards!

Caramel and lemon. Dark copper pour with good head and lacing. Light bitter finish. Just enough hops to make this more interesting than your typical amber. Can.

Poured chilled it has minimal head and a copper body. Hoppy aroma, more IPA than something else perhaps. Nice hoppy flavour with hazelnut hints and a dry finish. Drinkable certainly but hard to call a stand-out.

Hazy amber color. Big stone fruit, peaches and apricots jump from the mouth. Hugely hoppy little backbone. Light body fun little beer

Pours amber with a moderate head that dissipates quickly. Lots of carbonation. Light aromas of pine, toffee, and raisins. Flavors of toasted malts, light pine, and grass. light bitter finish. Pretty straightforward.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a hazy golden orange with a medium beige head. Aroma is very light, with subtle notes of bready malt and not much else. Flavour brings out a hop-forward body, with notes of bready caramel malt and finishing on a resinous hop astringency. Well-constructed, hop-forward amber - nothing special, but decent.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Cloudy golden color with creamy head. Mild aroma of citrusy hops. Lean and dry mouthfeel; good flavor of malt with tones of toffee and caramel; strong bitterness; the hopping is quite citrusy, more resiny towards the final; in the end there is some light undesired chicory presence.
Pleasant beer, needs some minor tuning though.
