Keg at PP Carlsbad, 21/04/14. Clear pale golden with carbonation well evident and a big white head that retains. Nose is orange squash, light pine, grapefruit, hoppy waftings. Taste comprises mandarin, straw, toasted malts, citric pithdom, grapefruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a dose of hop bitteress. Decent APA.

On draft at the brewpub it is a golden color with a slight head and the aroma is of citrus. The taste is a tangy bitter citrus that lingers bitter on the palate

Light golden color. Tons of tropical fruit with a hint of pale malt in the nose. Very hoppy. Med full body, tons of hops but slightly astringent and the hops don’t hit me as much as I want them too. Decent bitter finish. Good, but not fantastic.

Shaker pint draft at Pizza Port in Carlsbad, California. The pour is a clear yellow golden with a white head. The aroma is fresh citrus, lime and lemon, floral, and a soft dank resin. There is a bit of a grassy malt in the back. The taste is a nice balance between citrus hop (lime and grapefruit) and grassy cracker malt, all quite fresh and vibrant. The palate is medium to light bodied with bright active carbonation and a dry finish. Easy drinking, tasty stuff.

On tap. Pours with a crystal clear yellow hued body with a lasting white head and great lace. Aromas are of hops: dank, fruity, tropical notes, passion fruit, blueberry, low grainy malt with intense citrus. Flavors are bitter, dry, grainy medium fruit, huge grassy, dank and dry. Lively carbonation, dry, medium low body. I bet this recipe is quite a bit different than in years past.
