Tap. Pours hazy butterscotch amber, medium white head, nice lacing. aroma is light citrus, pine, caramel. Flavor is light and watery with the same notes. Light sweet, light bitter. Light body, interesting but a little harsh on the finish.

Devil’s Canyon brings us a 3.7% IPA!!! Probably my first session IPA in Japan, on tap at Rokko Beer Dinner. I love their menu & the variety in terms of styles & countries. A great clear amber color with a slightly too thick head of fluffy white foam. A nice fruity hoppy pine aroma. The mouthfeel is a bit watery which shouldn’t be so surprising considering the low ABV. The flavor is mostly an astringent pine bitterness... so I am a touch disappointed. Decent session IPA but one dimensional, though living in Japan you gotta love the name!

Draft. Amber beer with a whitish head. Grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit and summer fruit flavor with light grain and light pine. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and pine lingers with light summer fruit and light grain.

Citra hops and tons of grapefruit in the nose. Lots of bitterness, well balanced, though the body doesn’t feel that light. Very deceiving how light abv the beer is. Very enjoyable and fun. Moderate bitter finish.
