Thanks to bartlebier! 330 ml. bottle sampled @ BBF 2014. BBF 01.04.2015. Hazy orange, solid white bubbles head. Floral, sweetish bread & dried orange peel nose; Taste is bitter floral, iron, sweetish mandarin, touch marmalade, touch malty. Crips & iron-like body. Pretty decent & nice but not on par with the stellar Polaris version.

7/II/15 - 33cl bottle @ Brugs Bierfestival - BB: I/IV/15 (2015-151) Thanks to Bartlebier for sharing the bottle!

Clear dark orange beer, creamy off-white to yellow head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: sweet, caramel, malty, bit fruity, some mango, sugary, little soapy. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: fruity start, bit sourish, bitter, grassy touch, little malty, citrus. Aftertaste: bit grassy, bitter, herbal, sourish, very dry, bitter, medicinal, some marzipan. Not as fruity as I was hoping for...

Bottle, 0.33l. Cloudy orange amber color with large fluffy off-white head, nice lacing and sparkling appearance. Aroma of lemon, tangerine, passion fruit, pine and mild biscuit malt. Taste starts with light sweet toasted malt, follows by citric and grassy acidity with moderate bitter finish. Medium body, oily texture and soft carbonation in palate. Nice one, although missing some flavor to cope with better IPA’s...

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, light-amber colour with a medium-sized and off-white foamy head. Moderately fruity hoppy aroma with notes of citrus and tangerine, accompanied by a mildly malty and yeast-spicy background. Moderately bitter flavour, medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Present spicy, mildly fruity and slightly resiny hops character with a delicately bready cara-malty base; dry and quite bitter hoppy finish with spicy and resiny notes. A tad harsh but nevertheless likeable. 16.XII.14

Christmas present from my sister who bought it at EDEKA Rotthowe in MΓΌnster. 0,33 l bottle (best before 1/4/2015). Clear, golden copper with a huge, stable, foamy, white head. Nice lacings on the glass. Floral, citrusy aroma of passion fruit, mango, orange and hints of tangerine. Taste is less fruity and quite bitter. The bitterness actually kills some of the taste so that just hints of mango and grapefruit are left. The finish is long and really bitter. Still pleasant though. Slightly creamy texture, medium body, average carbonation. Overall a decent IPA that looks beatiful and smells wonderful but suffers from a slightly too harsh bitterness.

Bouteille: Deep golden, hazy, small and stable off-white head; moderate fruity-zesty nose, some toasty caramel detectable in the second row; moderate to solid dryish bitter flavour with a delicate residual sweetness, pretty light bodied for a beer of 7.5%; toasty-caramelly and - finally- cough-syrupy finish with a solid herbal and grapefruity aftertaste. Yes, good…

Bottle. Almost clear in the glass, golden in color and with a dense, off-white head of moderate size. The aroma is quite grassy and piney, with some pale malts in the back. The flavor is quite bitter, with a good dash of oranges and grass. Medium to full body, quite dry on the palate, with a pleasant carbonation level. Lasting finish. Quite nice this one, but a tad one-dimensional in a way. 141219
