22/11/2012 Brasserie 4:20 (tap). Bevuta al Thanksgiving Day. Dorata, pesca, schiuma bellissima, molto abbondante e straordinariamente persistente. Al naso aroma intensissimo, un bouquet esplosivo di frutta esotica e pesca con note erbacee, davvero impressionante. In bocca Γ¨ luppolata decisa ma bilanciata, secca, di facile beva, quasi perfetta. Corpo medio, buona carbonazione. Profumatissima, una meraviglia.

On tap at Carlsbad. Pours with a mildly hazed golden hued body with a frothy white head that lasts. Aromas are of tangerine, pomelo, citrus, herbaceous and dank. All hops. Flavors are sweet fruit, citrus, herbaceous, dank and a bit minty. Low to no malt character which is fine by me. Fresh tasting. Lively bubbles and dry. Good, but are very hoppy 6.1% beers American Pale Ales these days?

Light amber color. Pineapples and strawberries dominate the nose. Very fragerant. Moderate malty backbone, but this is all about the hops. Nice piney finish. Light bitter refreshing. Very enjoyable.

A hazed golden amber ale with a thick off white head. In aroma, a nice bready malt aroma with light floral hops, piney resins, some notes of kiwi. In mouth, a nicely hopped pale ale with fresh green hops, a bit of citrus notes, light, fragrant and pleasant. On tap at Ballast Point 13 Anniv. Beer Festival , Oct. 24 2009.
