Chelmsford Summer Beer Fest. Cask. Clear amber beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is airy, semi dry and has modest carbonation. Tangy malts, some toffee - caramel. Tangy dried fruits. Modest floral bitterness. Light semi dry finish. Utterly standard bitter.

Dark brown color. Very big tobacco leaf and chocolately nose. Mouth is fairly hoppy with some tobacco leaf notes. Moderately aggressive bitter finish.

Cask at the Carousel Lounge, Hythe, Kent. Chestnut brown with a foamy white head; sour autumn fruit aroma; fruity malt flavours, again slightly sour; the finish is slow to develop and tartly bitter. A pleasing bitter.
