Citrus? Bubblegum? Girders?? With our Iron Brew Sour we wanted to get as close to original recipe taste as possible - a homage to Scotland's second national drink. Phenomenal.

On tap at Fuggles Cafe Tonbridge. Hazy orange colour lasting white head. Irn Bru aroma. Some sourness. I mean it's hilarious. I love a beer that pits a smile on my face and this does. It's an irn bru sour. Hilarious

Light orange with a short head. Iron Bru is one of those things that are national institutions but I’m not sure anyone likes (see Tayto crisps in Ireland). As a beer this is nice and fruity, dry malty base, soft fruit finish. Blackbird Rathmines.

Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours light amber, scarcely transparent, with fine white foam. Aroma is intense, rather particular, as described, recalling the aromatics used in fruity chewing gum, strawberry and peach. Body and carbonation are average. A little astringency. Taste is medium sour, with quite some sweetness as well. Final is average.

Keg at BD Waterloo, 29/02/24. Lucozade shade of orange topped with an off white head. Nose is sweet orange drink, sugars, red lemonade, tangy, herb. Taste comprises more sweet edged orange, Irn-Bru twangs, caramelised sugars, damp cloth. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light puckering edge. As I've found with all the VC Irn-Bru a touch 1D and nothing I'd want to drink too much of.

Draft at Dispensary, Whiskey & Beer, 03/05/2023 Tart sour puckering fruity notes of iron bru, medium body and acidity, iron bru infused finish, really not my thing.
