Genealogy of Morals, the name of one of our most coveted Nietzschean narratives, also happens to be one of our barrel-aged imperial stouts. We brewed this wheat imperial stout, added a blend of specially selected Central American coffees roasted by George Howell Coffee, and aged it in a selection of bourbon barrels from our favorite distillers. After more than 20 months in these barrels, this beer is now ready for release.

Bourbon and coffee. Always an unbeatable combo for me. Thick rich. Sweet but balanced with s boozy bourbon note. Bitter chocolate.

Bottle shared at Maakuns. Thanks! Black. Deep roasted chocolate malts, coffee, sweet, bourbony. Big sweet and bitter. Full body and soft carbonation. The non BA version with coffee from growler was way more intense.

Bottle at bd party, thanks guys! Black with small creamy tan head. Vanilla bourbon, sweet coffee, licorice, deep roasted cocoa beans, more coffee, tar. Quite sweet and under medium bitter. Full bodied. Super tasty, but the recent non-BA special coffee version I've had was just as good.
