Egmondse Weizen is een Weizenbier gebrouwen naar Duitse stijl, dat wil zeggen met 50% gerstemout en 50% tarwemout. De twee aroma-hopsoorten zorgen voor een subtiele en aangename bitterheid. Het bier schuimt mooi wit, kleurt goud in het glas, is lichtgesluierd en kenmerkt zich door de geur van kruidnagel en banaan. 5% vol.

clear yellow, smooth white head. nice wheaty and slightly bitter aroma, mild notes of banana. flavor is wheat, mild fruits, quite un-fruity for a wheat. some faint citrussy and citrus peely notes.

Bottle shared fr Deanso. Pours almost clear golden with a big white head. Aroma of citrus, yeast, light alcohol and fruit. Flavour is light sweet, light to medium bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

33cl Bottle, bought at NHBF. Almost opaque yellow colour, small white head. Aroma of yeast, sharp wheat notes, grain, light grassy, hint of plastic. Flavour is medium sweet, lemon, wheat, light bitter yeasty finish. Light bodied. Not really weizen-like imo, but not bad. Soft carbonation.
