Fairly hazy copper and bronze coloured body with a thinnish, pure white head. Aroma of alcohol, a good deal of rich malts, some softer citrus and grassiness and a bit of the alcohol coming through. Medium-bodied; Very rich malts show at first with a lot of sweetness and resin-like flavours, but a smooth citrus and mango flavour towards the end with bitterness everywhere from the pungent hops, but also some bready bite at the end. Aftertaste shows a good blend of rich malts, a lot of bitter hops and some sweetness from the fruits and caster sugar. Overall, a pretty decent almost Imperial IPA with a lot of flavours, and more richness than anything else, with a slight hit of oranges and grass, but the pungency is noticeable here. A nice enough option to try for a bigger IPA, but not the best in the style or perhaps worth trying to find. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Total Wine in Cary, North Carolina (Crossroads Boulevard) on 30-May-2021 for US$5,29 sampled in my hotel room here in New York, New York on 22-June-2021 before leaving for Alaska.

Cloudy orange blond beer, small creamy off-white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: malty, orange peel, some passion fruit, bit resinous. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice bitterness, bit resinous, hoppy, grassy, fruity touch, some passion fruits. Aftertaste: pretty bitter, more citrus, bit lemony, tropical fruits, nice acidity, on warming up more passion fruit, good one!
