20/2/2021. Bottle shared at the third Ipswich Lockdown 3.0 virtual bottle share. Suffolk vs Norfolk. Bought at the brewery. Pours dark amber with a frothy off-white head. Aroma is malty, toffee, biscuit, dried fruits, touch of pepper and batter pudding. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Moderate body, average carbonation. Spicy malty finish. Nice complexity to this.

Many thanks to Simon for this bottle. Nice mild and slightly grainy beginning. Easy to drink, hints of red malts with a nice bitter Ale character body. Smooth mild aftertaste, with grain and red malts, hints of hazelnuts, nice dry.
