Bottle. Color: Clear chestnut, beige head. Aroma: Caramel malt, some floral hop. Taste: Caramel malt, hints of nuts, floral and lightly citrus fruit hop. Fruitcake notes. Moderate to over moderate sweet and moderate bitterness. Medium body, below average carbonation.

500ml bottle from Purely Cornish in Looe. Pours red / brown with a off white head. Aromas & tastes of dark fruits, chocolate, liquorice & toasted malt. Medium body. Light slightly sweet bitter finish. Enjoyable

19/7/2024. Cask at the 2024 Chelmsford Summer Beer & Cider Festival. Poured clear chestnut brown with a small bubbly off-white head. Nice looking beer. Aroma is dried fruits, chocolate, malt, toffee, liquorice. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, smooth, soft carbonation. Quite enjoyable.

Foamy light brown head on a reddish brown body. Reb berry, malt & herbal aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a foamy back. Malt, coca-cola, grain, herbal & musty tastes. Strange one.
