Our Baltic Porter is a top-fermented craft style Beer with a full body and a bitter-sweet flavour.
Brewed with dark malt, a generous amount of hops and even more love for good German beer!

As Reeper B. Baltic Porter. Huge thanks to quack-duck for that one! Can looks simple but okay. Beer in the glass not as dark as exspected. Malty moldy aroma. Starts dry malty, roasty, some fruity hints. Metallical background. Finish could be more balanced. Okay.

0.33 l can from local 'Aldi', best before April 2022. Clear, dark amber (?) with a medium large, foamy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, minimally fruity aroma of caramel and light raisins. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter and a little fruity taste of caramel, light coffee and a touch of raisins, followed by a short, slightly bitter, minimally roasty finish. Medium body, gently effervescent, soft carbonation. Not a Baltic Porter by any means but quite inoffensive and drinkable at least.

can from Aldi Süd. Pale golden brown (!?) colour, mid-sized off-white head. Thin malty base, some roastsy flavours, dry, cardboardy woody hops with no aroamtic characterictics. Nasty stuff. Pretty disappointing even by my low expectations.

01-11-20 // 330ml cna from local ALDI. Style fail. Boring, flat taste amber ale sort of. And why use an obviously black woman, lightdressed with the words „rassiges Porter“. Bullshitmarketing as well. --- Beer merged from original tick of Reeper B. Baltic Porter on 01 Nov 2020 at 14:55 - Score: 2. Original review text: Style fail. Boring, flat taste amber ale sort of.
