Small, but stable white head over fully hazy yellow-ochre beer. Very floral, dried green herbs, blossoms and uncomestible honey. Serious wheat-like aroma. Bitterish, spicy and yeasty. Again wheat (probably: spelt) and garden herbs. Bitter(ish) honey. Refreshing for sure, but a bit sticky in the swallowing. Peppery aftertaste, but not sharp. Rather light body, seems very well-attenuated. Not half bad... --- Beer aliased from original tick of Pompebier on 23 Oct 2011 at 01:59 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6. Original review text: Clear greenish golden, with a good, just off-white head. Flowery nose, springblossoms and green apple. Slightly pharmaceutical flavour, surrounding malts, with touches of grass and lemonpeel. Light to medium bodied, quite carbonated. A bit disappointing in flavour, as the nose promised much more and finer.

75cl flip top bottle bought in Brugge. BB 10-2013.
