Bottle. Blonde. Hints of citrus and floral grassy notes in both aroma and flavor. Cellar notes. Thinnish. Hint of alcohol. Some tartness. Decent.

Sweet-ish malty, estery fruity aroma, hints of apricot, mirabelle, nectarine, yellow stone fruit in gerneral, a touch of mandarine and seabuckthorn. Taste is dry, fruity, notes of stone fruit, apricot, nectarine, mirabelle, residual sweetness.

Bottle from De Hopduvel shared with Goedele. Opens with a lot of pressure, but no gushing. Irregular, snow white, thick head over a hazy golden blonde beer with peachy hue. Aroma of stewed apples, white bread, banana, redcurrant, lemon zest, pear, sourdough, dried wormwood leaves, camomile, soap, old potatoes, baker's yeast, pineapple juice. Fruity, estery onset, crisp apple and green banana notes, sourish side note, fizzy carbonation but still pleasantly supple mouthfeel. Bready middle with soapy-grainy aspect no doubt due to the spelt, dryish and yeasty finish with floral hoppiness, lingering pear and banana impressions and some spicy phenols. Decent Belgian ale in all respects, crisp enough and a tad rural to qualify as a saison, but on the straightforward and sweet side as well.

Bottle @ home shared by joes. Foggy yellow with a small white head. Smells malts, hint of almond, slightly sour. Tastes malts, herbs, almond, loads of cardboard. Medium body, nice carbo.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared by Joes. Again I got the last part of the bottle (sort of speak) and it was totally murky, yellow colored with slightly some yeast particles floating in there. Small off-white head that diminishes fairly quickly. Aroma is totally weird, it reminds me of Indian rice...wtf.. Taste is yeasty, a bit sweetish, it’s alright actually. Don’t like the aroma but the taste is decent.

Thanks to Kraddel. 33 cl. bottle split by 3. Orange, quickly gone head. Lots of mellow orange and light marmalade in the nose, hay, straw, peaches, lightly rustic. Tastes of mellow biter zest, light esters, sweet orange, dash marmalade, touch creamy, lightly sweet. Not stellar or pronounced enough to reach for the stars but still a very lovely drink. I may be anything but a fan of most ’t Hofbrouwerijke beers but is definitely one of the good ones.
